Forensic Evidence Screening
The strength of an analytical report begins with strict chain of custody and analytical methods geared for detail.
An advanced evidence screening laboratory is staffed with seasoned forensic scientists and equipped with an arsenal of validated techniques and technologies to afford rigorous and comprehensive screening.
Our selected laboratories have invested in first class instrumentation, including digital video and photography imaging systems for both macroscopic and microscopic evidence documentation and 400W SPEX MiniCrime Scope.
Forensic Paternity Testing
With conventional paternity testing it is customary to collect a voluntary or court ordered buccal sample from an alleged father or individual for DNA analysis.
In certain circumstances it may be either difficult to confront an individual or they might be deceased or otherwise not available to give a DNA sample. In these circumstances, abandoned evidence can often be useful in answering relationship questions.
While the results will likely not be court admissible, unless collected by a third party investigator, they can provide valuable information on family relationships.
To avoid contamination of evidence:
- Avoid touching the area where you believe DNA may exist
- Avoid talking, sneezing, and coughing over evidence
- Air-dry evidence thoroughly before packaging, moisture can spoil the sample.
- Put evidence into new paper bags or envelopes, not into plastic bags
- Avoid touching your face, nose, and mouth when collecting and packaging evidence

The Collection kit is sent directly to a recommended DNA collector, PSC, practitioner or doctor in your local area.
- Attend the appointment with your full identification documents
State Drivers License, State I.D. Social Security Card, School I.D., Hospital Release forms for New Born Children and Passports.
- The alleged father's, and child's specimens are required to determine paternity.
Under special circumstances the mothers DNA does not need to be tested (If this is the case and the child is under 16 you must also bring with you proof of parental responsibility for the child)
- After collection the specimens will be sent to the laboratory for paternity testing by the collection site.
Results are available in 3-7 business days and will be provided via mail and email.
