The Collection kit is sent directly to a recommended DNA collector, PSC, practitioner or doctor in your local area.
- Attend the appointment with your full identification documents
State Drivers License, State I.D. Social Security Card, School I.D., Hospital Release forms for New Born Children and Passports.
- The alleged father's, and child's specimens are required to determine paternity.
Under special circumstances the mothers DNA does not need to be tested (If this is the case and the child is under 16 you must also bring with you proof of parental responsibility for the child)
- After collection the specimens will be sent to the laboratory for paternity testing by the collection site.
Results are available in 3-7 business days and will be provided via mail and email.
Procedure:
Samples are collected from one alleged Aunt or Uncle and one Niece or Nephew at home or at a collection center (a parent is optional, but strongly suggested). The samples are obtained using a cheek swab. After samples are sent to the laboratory, results will be available within 5-10 Days.
The conclusive range for these results are <20% exclusion or >80% inclusion. We do not guarantee that results will fall into this conclusive range, however with our detailed DNA testing of up to 41 DNA Markers, We can provide conclusive results for Aunt/Uncle tests in up to 98% of cases.
